To reach the barn from the Fellows Residence, we recommend the concrete walking path or the roadways located at the perimeter of the lawn.
Studios are equipped with furnishings that are inventoried to each studio. Please do not move furnishings, equipment, or fixtures into the hallway or from one studio to another. Otherwise, the studio is yours to arrange as you see fit.

Studios are cleaned between residencies but will not ordinarily be cleaned during your stay. Cleaning equipment and supplies are available in the Fellows Kitchens.
Clean linens for your studio bed can be provided upon request. Submit a Work Order
Quiet, Please: Noise travels easily throughout the Studio Barn complex. Please keep your studio door closed and use headphones if you plan to listen to music while working. If you are speaking in the halls, please use your “library voice.”
Kitchen Checks: If you leave your studio late at night, please check the kitchen closest to your studio to make sure the stove, oven, and lights are off.
No Knock Policy: Unless previously arranged or in the case of an emergency, do not knock on other Fellows’ doors or interrupt their work.
