Vacating Spaces
- Bedroom Checkout: Move out your bedroom by 9:30 a.m. on your departure day. This allows housekeeping to prepare for the next arrivals.
- Studio Use: You may stay in your studio as late as you like, but you must inform the kitchen if you plan to stay for lunch and/or dinner.
- Energy and Safety:
- Turn off lights and heat/air-conditioning.
- 🎹 Exception: If there’s a piano in your studio, leave the HVAC on.
- Windows & Doors: Make sure windows are shut and doors are closed and locked.
- Visual Artists:
- Leave walls and tables in the same condition you found them. Request paint or equipment from the office several days in advance if needed.
- Two business days before your departure, the Resident Fellow will conduct a walk-thru of your studio.
- Food Removal: Be sure to pack up and/or properly dispose of all personal food items you have stored in any kitchen/fridge/cabinet space in the Fellows Residence or Studio Barn complex.
- Key Codes: Expire at the end of your last residency day.
